Mexico City Airport Parking
Information compiled by David Enrich, aviation and airport guide expert since 1999.
Parking at Mexico City International Airport is available at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, with several parking facilities designed for short stays, pick-ups, and longer trips. In total, the airport offers more than 5,000 parking spaces, making it convenient for passengers who prefer to arrive by car.
All official airport parking areas operate 24 hours a day, are monitored by security staff, and are located within walking distance of the terminals. Payment can normally be made at automated machines or cashier booths before exiting.
If you are only dropping off or picking up passengers, try to keep your stay under 30 minutes, as this is the cheapest parking option.
Terminal 1 Domestic Parking
This parking area is the most convenient option for travelers departing from Terminal 1 domestic flights. With more than 3,000 parking spaces, it is the largest parking facility at the airport.
It is located on Av. Capitán Carlos León, directly in front of Entrances 1 and 2, near the Domestic Arrivals area, making it easy to reach the check-in counters within a short walk.
The parking facility is open 24 hours daily and is suitable for both short-term and day-long parking.

Terminal 1 International Parking
Passengers traveling on international flights from Terminal 1 can use the dedicated international parking area. This facility offers around 2,400 parking spaces and is located very close to the international departures area.
The parking lot is also situated on Av. Capitán Carlos León, in front of the International section of Terminal 1 and near the long-distance bus terminal, which makes it convenient for travelers arriving from other cities.
Like other airport parking areas, it operates 24 hours a day.

Terminal 2 Parking
Parking at Terminal 2 is designed for passengers flying with airlines operating from this terminal, including Aeroméxico and its partners. The parking structure is located right next to the terminal building, allowing passengers to reach the check-in area within minutes.
This parking facility also operates 24 hours daily and offers convenient access for both short visits and longer stays.

Useful Parking Tips for Travelers
- Arrive early during holidays and weekends, when airport parking demand increases.
- Keep your parking ticket safe, as a lost ticket requires paying the penalty rate.
- If you plan to stay several days, compare airport parking with nearby private parking facilities, which may offer shuttle services and lower daily rates.
- Always pay your ticket before returning to your car to avoid delays at the exit gates.
